Who We Are

We are Ardie and Gene, a retired couple who have long had a love of stained glass. The beauty and craftsmanship of handcrafted stained glass has always captivated us.

Ardie is a retired Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, who for many years has moonlighted as an Interior Designer. She has been an antique collector, as well as a collector of stained glass.

Gene is a retired Printer, whose last 20 years in the printing industry was working on computerization. He has moonlighted as a Database Consultant.

Putting together our love and knowledge of stained glass and our skills in Interior Design and Computers, we formed Smashing Stained Glass, LLC.
