Chandeliers being hung in the dinning room should be placed in the middle of the dinning table and the room. The diameter of a stained glass chandelier should be approximately equal to ½ the width of the dining room table and mounted 30-34 inches above the table. The number of bulbs, light and heat the chandelier is casting determines the height above the table. The smaller the number of arms and bulbs the chandelier should be closer to 30". The more arms and bulbs, the chandelier should be closer to 34".
